Nichols Surf Shop offers one on one surf lessons for the beginning surfer, the surfer who has been out of the water for awhile, or for those who just want to brush up their skills. The sessions are $60 with 4 people per class, and lasts about an hour and a half. If you prefer private lessons, the cost would be $75. The first part of the session is spent on land going over safety, how waves work, how surfboards work and different types of equipment. The second part of the session is spent in the water.
